Adverse Media – Risk signals that matter within minutes

Identify relevant risk signals in minutes instead of hours, across KYC/KYB, Enhanced Due Diligence, onboarding and supplier screening.

AI helps you prioritise. You make the decisions.

More results don't mean better decision support

When working with risk, the challenge is rarely finding more information. The challenge is understanding which hits actually matter.

Large volumes of irrelevant articles create more manual work and more false positives, making it harder to focus on what actually requires further review.

Roaring filters out the noise before manual review, so risk teams can focus on the signals that matter.

Common questions

Here you’ll find answers to common questions about Adverse Media, how the service works and how it can support your organisation’s risk management processes.

Adverse media refers to negative media coverage and other publicly available information that may indicate an elevated level of risk associated with a company or people with significant influence over its operations.

Roaring analyses information about the company, as well as current and former board members and beneficial owners.

The analysis is based on publicly available information from the internet, including news articles and other open sources. When a relevant match is identified, a link to the original source is provided.

Not all potential matches are presented. Semantic analysis, relevance assessment and AI-based classification are used to filter out irrelevant matches, reduce false positives and provide a more focused basis for review.

The analysis may take up to one minute. A notification appears in the interface when the analysis is complete.

It does not necessarily mean that no risk exists. It means that no relevant adverse media was identified at the time of the search.

No. The summary is intended as decision support and should always be complemented by a review of the original article before a business decision is made.
