From complexity to control

Roaring was created out of frustration with cumbersome information flows. We set out to change that, and today we deliver insights that save time, reduce uncertainty and strengthen decision-making.

2016

Roaring was born out of frustration. Frustration with ideas that never become reality, and with how unnecessarily difficult it is for customers to access the right information. The data exists, but it is scattered, locked away and time-consuming to access and use effectively.

The goal was clear from the start: bring all critical company and individual data together, enrich it and make it instantly available to customers in one place.

2018

Two years into the journey, Roaring completed its first share issue. With investors such as Almi, Gunilla von Platen and Collector, with Lena Apler, the company gained both capital and clear validation: the solution was needed.

2021

When the world shut down, Roaring kept building. Despite the pandemic and a challenging economic climate, the company continued to grow steadily. The team expanded, the office began to feel too small and the foundations of a strong culture took shape.

Roaring also expanded beyond the Nordics. The platform grew, and signing functionality was launched, another step towards a more complete solution.

2023

Demand changed the direction. As interest in Roaring grew, so did the need for a ready-made application built on the same core product: enriched data.

The aim was to make it possible for customers to get started quickly, even without an integration.
What began as a way to showcase Roaring’s API platform evolved into Lookup.

2025

A year of recognition. Roaring was named one of the world’s most innovative RegTech companies in the RegTech1000, won Main Software 50 Nordics in Denmark, and was recognised as a Rising Star in Breakit’s SaaS report for the second year in a row.

Ahead of the Breakit SaaS Summit, the company was also nominated for SaaS Rocket of the Year. It is clear proof that the long-term work that began in 2016 is paying off.

The foundation of our offering is modern, robust APIs. They make it possible to integrate reliable company and individual data quickly into existing systems and workflows. The result is shorter time to market, reduced development effort and more effective digitalisation of business processes.

Our ambition is to be the market’s most developer-friendly provider. That means APIs that are consistent and easy to implement, clear and well-structured documentation, a well-designed sandbox environment for testing and verification, and fast, knowledgeable support. We build to make complex data easier to work with, without compromising on quality or reliability.
